The Garden

The Unicorn’s seasonal garden offers a proper country setting where you can settle in with a pint and watch the Kingwood countryside unfold around you—there’s plenty of outdoor seating to choose from, whether you’re after a quiet corner or somewhere to gather with friends. Come summer, the garden transforms into the sort of place where a barbecue might be fired up and roasts emerge from the kitchen at their finest, and you’ll find the sort of relaxed, welcoming atmosphere that makes you want to linger well into the evening. With new energy under the current stewardship and a genuinely hospitable crew, this is a proper local where the dog’s friendlier than most publicans, and the space—both inside and out—feels built for lingering over good food and whatever ales happen to be pulling well that day.
